Where is the meeting point?

How will I receive my tickets?
Your admission tickets will be handed to you by your guide at the meeting point before the tour begins. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time for check-in.
How long does the guided tour last?
The guided tour of St. Peter's Basilica lasts approximately 1 hour. If you have selected the Dome option, please allow additional time to complete your independent visit to the Dome.
Is the Dome guided?
No. If you select the Basilica + Dome option, the guided tour ends inside the Basilica. Your guide will accompany you to the elevator entrance, after which you will visit the Dome independently.
What should I bring on the day of my visit?
Please bring a valid ID or passport, your booking confirmation, a fully charged smartphone, and your own earphones if requested by the guide.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. St. Peter's Basilica is a place of worship. Visitors must wear appropriate clothing covering both shoulders and knees. Sleeveless tops, short skirts, and short shorts are not permitted.
Can I skip the security checks?
No. All visitors must pass through the mandatory security screening before entering St. Peter's Basilica. Security checks cannot be skipped, even when joining a guided tour. Please note that the waiting time for the mandatory security screening is managed entirely by the Basilica's security staff and is beyond our control. During peak season or on special occasions, waiting times may be significantly longer.
Does the elevator take me all the way to the top of the Dome?
No. Even with the elevator option, you must climb approximately 320 steps to reach the highest panoramic terrace.
