Your admission tickets will be distributed directly by your guide at the meeting point before the tour begins. Please do not go directly to the Colosseum entrance.
Can the itinerary change?
Yes. The visiting order may vary depending on the season and the daily capacity management of the Colosseum Archaeological Park. Your guide will confirm the itinerary before the tour starts.
Are radio headsets included?
Yes. Your guided tour includes radio headsets, allowing you to hear your guide clearly throughout the experience, even in crowded areas.
What is mandatory to bring on the day of my visit?
Please bring a valid ID or passport matching the name on your reservation, as it may be requested during security and ticket checks. We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing water, especially during the summer months.
Is there a dress code?
There is no specific dress code. However, comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes are highly recommended, as the archaeological areas include uneven paths, cobblestones, and steps.
Is there luggage storage at the site?
No. The Colosseum Archaeological Park does not provide luggage storage or cloakroom facilities. Only small bags (maximum size 30 × 40 × 15 cm / 11.8 × 15.7 × 5.9 in) are permitted inside. Large backpacks, suitcases, and bulky luggage are not allowed.
Do children under 18 need a ticket?
Yes. Visitors under 18 years old are entitled to free admission to the Colosseum Archaeological Park but must have a valid reservation. They are only required to pay the guided tour service fee, which includes participation in the tour and the use of the radio headset. The admission ticket will be provided by your guide on the day of the visit.
